- Wrap
Solutions polarized lenses are designed
not only to provide outstanding optics
for wrap frames, but to be surfaced in-house
at any lab that desires to so. To that
end here are a few tips for re-calculating
the Prescription as well as processing
the lenses.
- Fitting Height – VERY CRITICAL. All Wrap Solutions lenses (including Single Vision Wrap) require a Fitting Height measurement. If the dispenser has not supplied a fitting height, it is acceptable to enter at least 50% (1/2) of the frame’s B measurement in AccuCalc 6.2.
- Frame Measurements – Double
check the wrap frame measurements (A,
B, and DBL) when entering into AccuCalc
6.2.
- Doctor’s Rx Prism – Be sure to include the Doctor’s Rx prism amount and base direction in AccuCalc 6.2.
- Lens Cribbing – Always crib the lenses as much as possible when surfacing.
